The experience led by Lic. Lorena Hernández therefore provides a foundation for expanding SOSWater™ research from the identification of marine plastic-pollution pathways toward a broader water-quality, watershed, ocean-health and environmental early-warning model.
The long-term objective is to demonstrate how advanced environmental intelligence can help scientists, governments, communities and the private sector understand not only where environmental contamination exists, but how water and atmospheric systems transport environmental pressures across geographic boundaries.
This represents an important evolution in the SOSWater™ scientific mission: connecting field science, satellite technology, machine learning and environmental conservation to better understand the movement of pollution and the interconnected health of rivers, oceans, coral reefs and the communities that depend upon them.
S.O.S. Water is dedicated to conserving our oceans and marine biodiversity. We utilize advanced research techniques to monitor water quality and combat marine pollution. Our efforts aim to promote sustainable practices that ensure the health of ocean habitats for future generations.
S.O.S. Water is dedicated to protecting natural ecosystems and promoting sustainable practices. We leverage scientific research, community engagement, and innovative technology to address pressing environmental challenges. Our goal is to foster a healthier planet for future generations.
